Lauren Baylor

Originally trained in Fine Art at Crawford College in Ireland, Lauren spent years developing a sensitivity to tone, texture, and nuance — learning how subtle shifts can tell powerful stories. Through painting and printmaking she was always drawn to liminal spaces: sketchbooks and libraries, sunsets and horizons, the places where meaning quietly reveals itself, close to the abyss. She was searching for the place where spirit exists.

Working in a Bronze Foundry in Sydney, Lauren suffered a serious lower back injury and sciatic nerve damage in 2017. This became a pivotal moment: she turned inward and began a deep process of listening to the body and tuning into its natural healing. Through breathwork, writing, movement, and paint, pain gradually transformed into awareness, resilience, and a stronger sense of presence. What began as personal healing became a profound reorientation toward the body as an intelligent, expressive and healing system.

Alongside physiotherapy, Lauren undertook deep therapeutic work with an Internal Family Systems (IFS) counsellor. This process revealed how emotional patterns, memory, and the nervous system live within the body — and how healing occurs when we are met with safety, curiosity, and care. The same sensitivity that once shaped her art began to inform her hands-on work with others.

Today, Lauren is fully healed without surgery and continues to cultivate strength through mindful attention and ongoing self-discovery. She holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is certified in Intuitive Massage, blending solid anatomical knowledge with a deeply attuned, holistic approach. Her treatments are both grounded and subtle — supporting physical relief while creating space for deeper regulation and release.

As a Reiki Master, Lauren works with universal life force energy to assist clients in rebalancing their systems and reconnecting with their own innate capacity to heal. Where she once worked with pigment and form, she now works with energy, breath, and touch — attuning to the shifting rhythms of the body and the energetic field.

Having lived through loss, migration, and long-term healing, Lauren brings a steady, compassionate presence to her work. She understands that healing is rarely linear, and that true change unfolds when the body feels safe enough to soften, breathe, and respond.

Lauren offers a calm, respectful space for those seeking relief, reconnection, or restoration. With hands, breath, and heart, she supports clients in coming home to themselves — grounded, revitalised, and more connected with their bodies. ✨
